Our broad-spectrum of experience means we are often asked to work across supply-chains from inside the forest gate through to end users:
- Vertical integration for for individual or groups of businesses. Vertical integration is the the idea that involvement up and down the supply chain can create efficiencies, cut costs and increase collaboration. Examples we have worked with include forest owners investing in secondary timber processing to increase the value of their standing timber and sawn mills looking to form long-tern agreements with forest owners to ensure continuity of supply.
- Landscape scale development whereby groups of woodland owners or representative bodies want to work together to realise greater value for their standing woods by developing localised higher-value supply chains.
